MEET SAFIYYAH

Safiyyah’s introduction to yoga started at a small local studio, for that first hour on the mat, she felt a real sense of ease, the worries of daily life gently melting away and a body that felt strong and healthy. She has now been developing her practice for over 8 years, with yoga becoming an incredible tool to manage stress and anxiety. 

Years of a personal practice led Safiyyah to Bali where she spent everyday in intensive training with Zuna Yoga in the Hatha Vinyasa practice, and learning more about the physical, emotional and philosophical science to yoga and meditation. Teaching and sharing this practice with others brings her a lot of joy, she is known for her warm and approachable teaching style with students coming back time and time again.
